DRI seized Foreign Origin Cigarettes Sticks worth Rs.2.93 Crore The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence's Officers of Delhi Zonal Unit has seized 19.6 lakh sticks of foreign origin cigarettes valued at Rs. 2.93 Crore which were smuggled into India. The officers' efforts to locate the particular godowns in the absence of an address are commendable. In another case the officers of the Customs Preventive Zone, Tiruchirappalli, intercepted a two wheeler and recovered 14.8 Kgs of smuggled Gold valued at Rs.8.92 Crore.
