EPFO launched Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 scheme

Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched a massive district outreach program in all the districts of the country through a revamped Nidhi Aapke Nikat program.

This program’s goal is to reach every district in the nation on the same day, or the 27th of each month. In 685 districts all over the country EPFO organized camps. Bhavishya Nidhi Adalat was renamed Nidhi Aapke Nikat in the year 2015, and in the year 2019, trade union membership helped the Nidhi Aapke Nikat Program’s spread even more. A monthly Pension Adalat was launched in 2021 as a special outlet for retirees’ issues.

In the presence of the Central Provident Fund Commissioner and other authorities, the programme was electronically inaugurated by the Secretary of Labor and Employment, Arti Ahuja, from the EPFO Headquarters. More than 850 people participated in the event online, including lawmakers, members of the legislative assemblies, members of the CBT, members of regional committees, district collectors, representatives of business organisations, and officers from field offices.

What is Nidhi Aapke Nikat Program?

The Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 will serve as a platform for information sharing with district level officials from various State and Central Government departments in addition to serving as a network for employers and employees to discuss grievances. A support desk will be established for this programme where participants may access online services including online claim submission, among others. Members’ grievances will be resolved immediately, and if they cannot be resolved immediately, they will be registered on the EPFO grievance site and handled in order of priority.

Under Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, EPFO will reach out to the stakeholders, hence enhancing accessibility and visibility of the organisation, in all of the districts of the nation. The Nidhi Aapke Nikat is a programme where EPFO stakeholders come to the EPFO field offices for grievance redressal.
