ESI Breaking: Govt Gives One-Time Window to Employers to Register Their Factory/Establishments

The SPREE 2025 (Scheme to Promote Registration of Employers/Employees) is a scheme introduced by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), which is giving a one-time window for employers to register their workplace and all eligible employees under ESIC from July 1 to December 31, 2025.

There will be no inspection or request for past records for the period before the declared date of registration under this scheme. The registered employees will get the facility of medical care for themselves along with their families. Additionally, the employers will also receive cash benefits in case of maternity, injury, death due to employment or sickness.

Employers can register their units by visiting the ESIC portal at https://www.esic.gov.in, or Shram Suvidha Portal, or the MCA portal.

The ESIC has released 8 FAQs to clear the doubts of the employers regarding the SPREE 2025, so that more employers and employees can get registered under ESIC.
