ESIC Recruitment 2022: Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is hiring eligible candidates for the recruitment for posts – Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor in the Medical Teaching Faculty, and Child Psychologist. The recruitment will be on a contractual basis through a walk-in interview. There are only 52 vacancies for these posts.

Walk-in-interview for the posts of Teaching Faculty will be held on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of December 2022. The Reporting time is 9 am and the Closing time is 11 am. Walk-in-interview for Child psychologists will be held on the 8th of December 2022. The Reporting time is 9 am and the Closing time is 11 am.

In case of Non-availability of candidates for faculty positions in a particular reserved category, the available meritorious candidate may be given the offer of engagement for a period of 44 days at the sole discretion of the Appointing Authority.

Eligibility Criteria for ESIC Recruitment 2022

1. Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor

Qualification:

Academic qualification and teaching experience to be eligible for engagement are as per the “Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions, 2022” as amended and applicable as of date to the respective posts (Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor).

Age Limit:

Below 67 years

2. Child Psychologist

Qualification:

Essential:

a. M.A/M.Sc. in Psychology with M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent.

b. At least 2 years experience in Child & Adolescence mental health

Desirable:

Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institution

Age Limit:

Between 21 to 35 years

Salary for ESIC Recruitment 2022

The consolidated remuneration will be paid as under:

a. Professor – Rs 228942 per month

b. Associate Professor – Rs 152241 per month

c. Assistant Professor – Rs 130797 per month

d. Child Psychologist – Rs 47838 per month

Selection Procedure for ESIC Recruitment 2022

(i) The selection will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidate in an interview before the Selection Board.

(ii) Result will be communicated through e-mail and will be displayed on the website.

(iii) Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of the offer of appointment.

Tenure for ESIC Recruitment 2022

Teaching Faculty –

1. The contract would initially be for a period of three years at the outset, with a provision of further extension for a period of two years. The maximum tenure of such engagement will not exceed 5 years or 70 years of the age of faculty, whichever is earlier.

2. The contractual engagement will be subject to the following:

a. Barring serious misconduct/irregularity, a continuation of the incumbent would be based on a satisfactory annual appraisal.

b. The contractual engagement may be terminated/discontinued on either side giving one-month prior notice to this effect without assigning any reason.

Child Psychologist –

The Contractual engagement will be for a maximum period of one year or appointment of regular incumbents whichever is earlier.
