ESIC Recruitment 2023: The Office of Medical Superintendent Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Assam has invited Applications from the Candidates for Walk-in Interviews in respect of Contractual Full-Time Specialist (FTS)/ Part-Time Specialist (PTS) (Surgery).
As per the ESIC (Assam) Recruitment 2023 Notification, there is 01 Vacancy to be filled on a Contractual Basis.
Among the Candidates satisfying Eligibility for Full-Time Specialist/Part-Time Specialist and are Willing to participate in the Walk-in-Interview notified in the ESIC (Assam) Recruitment 2023 Notification may apply as per the Instructions and in the Prescribed Application Proforma mentioned therein.
The Eligible and Intending candidates may complete the Application Filling Process to be able to attend the Walk-in Interviews every working Friday from 11:00 am to 01:00 pm till the posts are filled.

Engagement Term: 01 Year
As per the ESIC (Assam) Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Candidate should be aged a Maximum of 69 Years as on the Date of the Interview.
Maximum Age: Not to exceed 69 Years
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma or MBBS Degree in the Concerned Specialty from the MCI Accredited University with Registration with the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Councils.
Experience: PG Degree with Minimum 03 Years/ PG Diploma with 05 Years’ Working Experience in Similar Discipline(s) after Post Graduation.
The Selected Candidates shall be entitled to the Monthly Remuneration notified in the ESIC (Assam) Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued.
Consolidated Remuneration payable to the Full-Time Specialist/Part-Time Specialist is as follows:
1) Full-Time Specialist: Rs.106000 (Rupees One Lac Six Thousand) only Per Month.
2) Part-Time Specialist: Rs. 60000 (Rupees Sixty Thousand) only Per Month.
a) Charges for Emergency visit, if willing: Rs 15000
b) Additional Remuneration beyond 16 Hours/Week: Rs 800 for every Additional Hour.
*Additional Working Hour(s) is/are to be justified by Medical Superintendent.
Selection on Full-Time Specialist / Part-Time Specialist Posts notified vide ESIC (Assam) Recruitment 2023 Advertisement shall be conducted through Walk-in Interview and Document Verification.
The Selected Specialist must have a Professional Indemnity Policy Essentially covering the Period as desired by the ESIC. The Policy is meant to cover the Professional Liability falling on them as a result of Errors and Omissions committed by them while rendering Professional Services. The Minimum Sum assured Per Annum should be
1) Rs. 30.00 Lac for Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons etc.
2) Rs.20.00 Lac for General Surgeons, Gynecologists, Obstetricians, etc.
3) Rs 10.00 Lac for Physicians Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists, Chest (Pulmonologists) etc.
