Finance Ministry Notifies 6.85% Interest Rate for Senior Citizens Welfare Fund Deposits The Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, has issued a notification regarding the interest rate applicable to deposits under the Senior Citizens Welfare Fund (SCWF). According to the notification, deposits made under the Senior Citizens Welfare Fund will bear interest at the rate of 6.85% for the period from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
