Fire Breaks out in Delhi Income Tax Office, GST Audit records damaged
On Thursday morning, a Fire Broke out in Delhi, Income Tax Office. The Fire broke out in 12th floor of building housing the Trade and Taxes department.
According to a senior Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official, the blaze originated in the section housing the GST audit branch. Several records, documents, computers, electronic equipment and office furniture were destroyed.
Eight fire tenders were dispatched following the call of DFS.
Around 50 firefighters were deployed, and the blaze was brought under control by around 9.10am.
No injuries or casualties were reported.
