Businesses with an annual turnover of less than Rs 20 lakhs will now be able to obtain a CA certificate for free from chartered accountants appointed by the state government. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar made the announcement while launching the Vyapari Kshatipurti Yojana at Haryana Niwas on Thursday. Representatives of the Haryana Traders Welfare Board were in attendance. According to sources, the directive will take effect on April 1.

During the launch, Khattar spoke to the audience and explained that small business owners must pay a little fee in order to obtain a CA certificate in order to register for GST. “Small traders with a turnover of less than Rs 20 lakhs will now receive the CA certificate from the government empanelled CAs,” the CM stated.

The state government created the Mukhyamantri Vyapari Kshatipurti Yojana in 2019 to provide insurance advantages to traders with annual turnovers up to Rs 1.50 crore, the chief minister explained in more detail. The CM revealed that as of right now, taxpayer traders who participate in this programme are covered for losses caused by fire, burglary, and natural disasters with insurance coverage ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 20 lakh.
