GATE 2024 Result OUT: Scores and Toppers List Released by IISc; Check Timings
GATE 2024 Result OUT: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 results are OUT today (i.e. March, 16) by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru according to the schedule. The results of the tests held on February 3, 4, 10 and 11 are out at the official website. Almost 6.8 lakh participants participated in this test.
Important Dates for GATE 2024:
GATE 2024 Exam Date: February 3, 4, 10, and 11.
Result Declaration Date: Saturday, March 16, 2024.
The exam includes negative markings for incorrect responses which means for each one-mark MCQ, one-third of the score will be reduced and for every 2-mark MCQ, two-thirds of the marks will be reduced. There is no deduction of marks for wrong answers for NAT and MSQ. Across multiple applicant categories, IISc releases the GATE cut-off every year.
On the basis of GATE results, candidates were allowed to apply for admission to master’s programmes at IIRT and other technical institutes. Many public sector enterprises require GATE exam results. The GATE exam 2024 was co-organised by IISc and seven IITs.
