GMRC Recruitment 2023: Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited under the Government of Gujarat, recruits eligible candidates for various posts under the project of Ahmedabad metro rail project Phase-I, Phase-II, and Surat metro rail on contract basis. According to the GMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 424 vacancies. The age range of interested candidates for all given positions should be between 18 to 28 years. The shortlisted applicants will be offered a monthly salary based on pay scales under the IDA pattern.
According to the GMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates interested in the positions must read all of the information before filling out the application form on the GMRC website. Applicants must provide a scanned copy of their photo and signature in accordance with the requirements. The candidates must keep their automated generated, “One Time Registration” (OTR) number upon registration. The scanned copies of the following papers proving the applicant’s birth certificate, academic and professional credentials, EWS/ SC/ ST/ OBC certificates (if any), pan card, and evidence of identification and residence must be submitted by 9th June 2023. The deadline for submitting application fees has been extended until June 17, 2023. Candidates from Govt./PSUs should produce a ‘no objection certificate’ from their employer, at the time of selection.

The candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC/OBC/EWS, female candidates, and ex-servicemen will get age relaxation depending on the orders of the Government of Gujarat. The appointed candidates can be placed at Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar or any other projects of GMRC, anywhere in Gujarat.

The candidates securing minimum score (for General category 60 percent marks and 50 % marks for reservation category (SC/ST / OBC/EWS) candidates) 50 percent marks) in the test of Gujarati language shall only be considered for selection. Only candidates willing to serve anywhere in Gujarat should apply.
