Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRC) is hiring qualified applicants for the post of General Manager/ Additional General Manager (Architect) on a contract/Deputation/post-superannuation basis. The number of open seats for the indicated post is 01.

Tenure for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, selected individuals will be appointed for a period of 03 to 05 years, with the possibility of extension.

Qualification for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the GMRC Recruitment 2023 must be B.Arch. graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute and should have experience in planning and designing elevated/ underground metro stations/urban railway projects and checking conformity of station layout to NBC/NFPA standards.

General Manager (Architect)

• Candidate should have a minimum of 20 years of post‐qualification relevant experience of Executive level in reputed private organization of civil engineering, or 17 years post‐qualification relevant experience of executive level in Government / PSU’s.
• Candidate should have at least 2 years experience in IDA pay scale of Rs.100000 to Rs.260000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA (Level 13 and above) pay scale OR should be working with reputed private organizations drawing salary (CTC) of minimum Rs.200000 per month (approximately).

Additional General Manager (Architect)

• Applicants should have a minimum of 18 years of post‐qualification experience at the Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or 15 years of qualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU.
• Candidate from government/PSU’s should have worked at least 2 years in IDA pay scale of Rs.90000 to Rs.240000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale.
• Candidates having experience in the private sector should be working with reputed private organizations drawing a salary (CTC) of a minimum Rs.180000 per month (approximately)

Selection Procedure for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be chosen based on an interview.

Age Limit for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for General Manager (Architect) post is 55 years and for the Additional General Manager (Architect) post is 53 years on a contract basis, for candidates applying on deputation is 58 years and for candidate applying on post superannuation basis is 62 years.

Salary for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the candidate appointed for the General Manager (Architect) post will get a  Scale of Pay between Rs.120000 to Rs.280000  and for the Additional General Manager (Architect) post will get a Scale of Pay between Rs.100000 to Rs.260000  per month.
