GMRC Recruitment 2023: Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRC) is looking for qualified applicants for the post of Chief General Manager/ General Manager, Addl. General Manager/ Joint General Manager, Sr. Deputy General Manager/ Deputy General Manager, Manager/ Asst. Manager, General Manager, Joint General Manager, Engineer – Sr. Grade and Asst. Manager (HR) on a contract/Deputation/post-superannuation basis. As given in the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, selected candidates will be appointed for a minimum of 3 years to 5 years, on an extendable basis.

Qualification and Experience for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the GMRC Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications.

Chief General Manager/ General Manager (Civil)

  • Candidate must have  a B.E./ B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/Institute
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 20 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Construction of major bridges, railways, underground, rail tracks etc. or 17 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU’s

Sr. Deputy General Manager/Deputy General Manager

  • Candidate must have B.E/ B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/ Institute.
  • Candidate should have experience in the construction of Viaducts, Bridges, Multi‐ Multi-stored buildings, and Workshop Sheds. Candidates who have worked in Metro rail Viaduct construction with experience in supervising segment casting yard work, erection of launching girder for segment launching, and pile foundation works will be preferred.

Manager/Asst. Manager (Signalling & PSD)

  • Candidate must be a B.E /B. Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Communications/Applied Electronics / Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
  • Candidate should have relevant experience in design/specifications, planning, administration of contracts, installation, testing, and commissioning of Signalling/PSD System works in Railway Systems/Metro/LRT/ Sub-urban Rail.

Engineer – Sr. Grade (Traction)

  • Candidate must have a B.E. /B. Tech in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Communications/Applied Electronics / Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent engineering discipline from a Govt. recognized Institute/ University.
  • Applicant should have atleast 03 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Asst. Manager (HR)

  • Candidate must have a full-time MBA (HR)/MHRM from Govt. recognized Institute/University.
    Candidate must have 5 years of experience in areas of end-to-end Recruitment, Payroll and Attendance Management, Contract Labor Management, Assisting in Training Employees, Advanced MS Excel, and Monthly MIS preparation.
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the Executive level in a reputed private organization or 05 years of relevant post-qualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU.
  • Candidate with experience in Statutory Compliances, EPF, ESIC, Gratuity etc., Employee Welfare, Industrial Relations, HR Analytics, Cloud-based sources, ROI process, and Implementation in L&D is desirable.
  • Candidate should have a Hands-on experience in SAP (HCM) ERP packages is preferred.
