Gokul Agro Faces Customs Scrutiny Over Rs 53 Crore Export Benefit Claims Gokul Agro Resources Limited has informed the stock exchange that the company has received a show cause notice on June 11, 2026, from the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Mundra Port, Kutch, Gujarat. The customs department has alleged that the company has violated provisions of the Sections 65 and 58 of the Customs Act, 1962 by wrongly availing of duty drawback benefits of Rs 145,255,203 and RoDTEP scrips worth Rs 384,688,080 on exported goods during the period between May 11, 2021, and December 19, 2025.

The company said, based on its preliminary assessment and legal advice, it does not anticipate any financial liability arising from the allegations raised in the show cause notice. The amount of penalty is yet to be determined and at this stage no restrictions, sanctions or adverse directions have been imposed on the company. The company is formulating its response to the show cause notice in consultation with legal advisors and is of the view that it has sufficient ground to defend its position. The company would be filing a detailed reply before the concerned authority within the prescribed timelines.
