The main difference between Google Wallet and Google Pay in their functionality are: Google Pay is primarily a payment app used for financial transactions, like paying in stores, sending money to friend, sending money home to your family, recharging your mobile, or paying the neighborhood tea shop, etc. It's focused on the simplest payment experiences. Google Wallet serves as a digital wallet on Android that gives you fast and secure, access to your everyday essentials such as; loyalty cards, boarding passes, and event tickets.
