The government has extended the Minimum Export Price for Natural Honey exports at USD 1400 per metric ton under the Foreign Trade Policy 2023 until 31st December.

Government Extends Minimum Export Price for Natural Honey Exports under FTP 2023
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Commerce) has recently issued a notification (No. 09/2026-27) on April 10, 2026, regarding the extension of the validity of the Minimum Export Price on the export of Natural Honey.
The Central government extends the validity of the current MEP of Natural Honey, using its power given by Section 3 and Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, along with Paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023. The government made the following condition:
Note: The validity of the existing Minimum Export Price (MEP) of US dollars 1400 FOB per Metric Ton on the export of Natural Honey is extended till December 31, 2026.
