Government Extends Trial Phase of E-Bill GST Council decided to implement thee-waybillmechanism throughout the country from February 1. In anotification, the GSTN informed the transporters thatE-waybillwould become mandatory for inter-state movements of goods from February 1, 2018. But it looks like that the GSTN server www.ewaybillgst.gov.in was not ready for massive traffic. Since morning the server was slow & traders were facing difficulties in generating e-way bill due to technical glitch. In view of difficulties faced by trade in generating e-way bill due to initial technical glitches, Govt. decides to extend the trial phase for generation of e-way bill, both for inter and intra-State movement of goods; It shall be made compulsory from a date to be announced : Govt. CBEC issued Official Notification to postpone the e-way bill rules

In light of the above tweet posted on official GST twitter handle of the Govt, you may please resume the dispatches as per the pre Feb 1 setup till further communication.
