Government Releases Guidebook On Mapping of Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) Codes
The Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade), recently issued a guidebook known as "Mapping of Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) Codes" on September 20, 2025.
The guidebooks main objective is to strengthen India’s position in global trade talks, attract more investments, and increase innovation in major industries. The book will also help Indian businesses grow and move up the global value chain, making India a reliable partner in international trade.
