Govinda, Shakti Kapoor, Chunky Panday, and Manoj Tiwari Named in Fraud Case Linked to Ghaziabad Firm
Bollywood Stars Govinda, Shakti Kapoor, Chunky Panday, and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari are under investigation in a fraud case. Their names came up in connection with a company called Maxizone Touch Private Limited, based in Ghaziabad.
The case started when some investors filed a complaint in a court in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. After this, the police registered an FIR. The investors said they were cheated by the company.
According to them, the company promised to give 15% return every month on their money. But later, they did not get either the promised profit or their original money back. This led to a police investigation.
The FIR mentions many people, but the names of famous actors got special attention. The complaint says that these actors promoted the company. Because of their popularity, more people trusted the company and invested their money.
In September 2025, Jamshedpur police arrested the company’s directors, Chander Bhushan Singh and his wife, Priyanka Singh, accusing them of running a fake MLM (multi-level marketing) operation and illegally collecting money from people.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) also raided places linked to the company. They are investigating possible investment and cryptocurrency fraud.
Officials said that the couple had been hiding from authorities for nearly three years before they were finally caught.
