Govt. appoints Shailesh Kumar Singh as Board of Director of SIDBI

The Ministry of Finance Vide Notification No. F. No. 17/8/2021-IF-II dated 20th June 2022 appoints Sh. Shailesh Kumar Singh, AS & DC of MSME, New Delhi as a Director on the Board of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).

Shailesh Kumar Singh is 1991 batch IAS Officer. He completed his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1988 and Masters in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard University in 2019. Singh was Joint Secretary in Coal Ministry between 2012 and 2015 and Chief Vigilance Officer at Steel Authority of India till April 2017.

The Notification is Given Below:

S.O. 2813(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section (6) (1) (c) of the Small Industries Development Bank of India Act, 1989 as amended in the year 2000, the Central Government hereby nominates Sh. Shailesh Kumar Singh, AS & DC, M/o MSME, New Delhi as a Director on the Board of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) with immediate effect and until further orders vice Sh. Devendra Kumar Singh.
