Govt. Notifies Amendments to Customs and Excise Duty Drawback Schedule- October 27, 2025
The Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) recently issued a notification on October 27, 2025 related to the changes in the notification of the Government of India.
In powers given by section 75 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52) and sub-section (2) of section 37 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1) read with rules 3 and 4 of the Customs and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 2017, the Central Government makes the following changes in the notification (No. 77/2023) of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue)- Customs (N.T.) dated October 20, 2023, published through number G.S.R 792 (E), on October 20, 2023-
In the said notification, in the Schedule in Chapter 71-
(i) against tariff item 711301, in the entry in column (4), for the figures "466.76", the figure "524.27" will be replaced.
(ii) against tariff item 711302, in the entry in column (4), for the figures "5234.00", the figures "6317.22" will be replaced.
(iii) against tariff item 711201, in the entry in column (4), for the figures "5234.00", the figures "6317.22" will be replaced.
