Overview:

American Express is hiring an experienced Lead Analyst at their Gurgaon location. This position will be responsible for conducting RBST (Regulatory Business Self Testing) to identify sales practices misconducts within GMNS teams. This includes reviewing calls and also implementing quality oversight for markets across the globe.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform regulatory Business Self Testing-calls and onboarding quality review for teams across GMNS in line with the established procedures.
• Compliance and Quality checks include testing, remediation, trend analysis.
• Close collaboration with business to identify and remediate areas of opportunity.
• Generate meaning insights and present conclusions for process enhancement.
• Critical Factors to Success:
• Excellent problem-solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development of recommendations)
• Strong verbal & written communication skills in bi-lingual ( French ) and the ability to interact effectively with cross functional teams
• Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to think through all aspects of problems and generate possible courses of action
• Attention to detail.
• Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change.
• Strong written and oral communication skill
• Should be self-motivated and able to thrive in an environment with ad-hoc requests and shifts in direction

Past Experience:

• Experience in banking compliance, call quality review or other regulatory experience preferred.
• Experience in Operational Excellence, Compliance, Internal Audit or a related discipline.

Academic Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Functional Skills/Capabilities:
• Strong knowledge of operational risk concepts and programs, balanced with the ability to drive assessment of risks against effective controls and tests
• Individual with working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, RBST policies procedures and manuals will be given preference
• Good hands-on experience on MS-Excel & PowerPoint.

Shift Timings:

• Shift Window – 11:00 AM IST – 11:00 PM IST
• Should be comfortable with rotational shifts

Knowledge of Platforms:

• Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, Merchantforce.com, SpeechMiner, Verint etc.
