Overview:

General Mills is hiring an experienced Executive – India Accounts Receivable at their Powai location. This individual will be responsible for performing Accounts receivable activity, Claims processing, ensuring compliance with General Mills accounting policies and will be responsible for flawless delivery in a consistent and standardized manner for GMI.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of JC end reports & timely publish.
  • Ensure accurate & on-time Auditing and Reconcile the Bank statements.
  • Resolve process related issues and document issues and learnings with minimal involvement from team lead.
  • Point of contact for stakeholder related ad-hoc requests / concerns.
  • End to End process knowledge & impact on IAR process.
  • Maintain Internal Trackers, activity list, Weekly & Monthly Dashboard.
  • Build the DMS for IAR and publish the same internally on daily basis.
  • Analysis of Data and create the value addition to stakeholders.
  • Get trained on Banking related activities and streamline the process.
  • Overall Reduction in Ageing of old open items
  • Ensure timely preparation of business reports and sharing same with Business.
  •  KPI report
  • Identify, initiate, & implement process improvement ideas, Initiate & implement macros in process to track execution data using tools like MS-Access, Excel.

Desired Profile

Education

  • Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
  • Preferred Degree Requirements: Bachelors
  • Preferred Major Area of Study: Accountancy, Auditing & Indian Taxation

Experience

  • Minimum years of related experience required: 1-2 years
  • Preferred years of related experience: 3-4 years
  • Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
  • Has worked in Indian Accounting process.
  • Has knowledge of Indian Tax laws.
  • Has worked on physical documents/ scan documents and maintenance of same.

Additional Information

  • Advanced MS Office computer skills preferred (Word, Excel – must, Access, Outlook, SharePoint)
