Overview:

Qatar Airways is hiring an experienced Quality Coordinator at their Ahmedabad location. The position will be responsible for driving best standards of process quality & internal control throughout the GBS unit.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

• Driving quality assurance & enhancement in GBS unit under supervision of team lead
• Performing sample based check, monitor transactions & provide feedback on quality
• Tracking & reporting relevant quality metrics identified for GBS process to team lead, Head of CDC GBS & stakeholders
• Performing compliance audits to identify process gaps & non compliances
• Assessing adherence of training programs of new employees as per company policy
• Supporting completion of audit checklist in advance for all internal/ external audits
• Assisting company’s external auditors for preparation of documentation for control weakness/ error remediation
• Ensuring on time escalation & mitigation of issues & risks reported by stakeholders to team lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years relevant work experience
• Work experience in quality & internal controls team in BPO/ shared service organization
• Work experience in business process re-engineering & optimization
• Exposure of GBS operations
• Prefer certifications like Lean six sigma black belt
• Strong skills in MS office applications (Excel, PPT)
