GRSE Recruitment 2023: Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE) is inviting applications for the post of Additional General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Senior Manager, Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager in various disciplines on a regular/discipline basis. The selected candidates on a contractual basis will be appointed for a tenure of 03 years. The selected candidates will get monthly salaries on grade scales, E 6, 5, 4, 2 and 1. As per the GRSE Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 11 vacancies.

  2. Deputy General Manager- 03

Qualification Required for GRSE Recruitment 2023:

Additional General Manage

Candidates applying for the post of Additional General Manager in Human Resource Discipline should have a Full-Time Graduate with 02 years of full-time MBA / PG Degree / PG Diploma or equivalent in Human Resource Management / Human Resource Development / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Social Work / Labour Welfare with 55% overall marks.

Candidates applying for the post of Additional General Manager in Technical Discipline should have a Four years full-time degree in Engineering or equivalent with First Class or 60% overall marks in the discipline of Mechanical/ Naval Architecture/ Production/ Electrical/ Electronics. Candidates having Post Graduate in Engineering/ Technology will be preferred.

Deputy General Manager

Candidates applying for the post of Deputy General Manager in the Technical Discipline should have a Four years full-time degree in Engineering or equivalent with 55% overall marks in the discipline of Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Technology/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering.

Candidates applying for the post of Deputy General Manager in Technical Discipline should have a Four years full-time degree in Engineering or equivalent with First Class or 60% overall marks in the discipline of Mechanical/ Naval Architecture/ Production/ Electrical/ Electronics. Candidates having Post Graduate in Engineering/ Technology will be preferred.

Experience Required for GRSE Recruitment 2023:

Additional General Manager

Candidates applying for the post of Additional General Manager in Human Resource Discipline should have 20 years’ post-qualification experience in dealing with HR matters i.e., IR, Contract Labour Management, Welfare administration, Establishment, Recruitment, Statutory Compliances, CSR etc. Candidates from Govt. / PSU / Autonomous organizations should have 2 years’ experience in immediate lower grades whereas Candidates from the private sector should be drawing comparable CTC of DGM Grade (E-5) for minimum 2 years. Naval Officers of the rank Captain and above or equivalent in the Army / Air Force / Coast Guard meeting the experience criteria may also be considered. Captain (TS) and Commander with requisite seniority meeting the experience criteria may be considered.

Candidates applying for the post of Additional General Manager in Technical Discipline should have 20 years’ post-qualification experience either singularly or collectively in “Shipbuilding” / “Ship design” / “Ship Repair” / “Overseeing the construction/repair of Naval Ships or Submarines/ Ship operations/ EMI/EMC Testing Centre”. Experience in handling installation, STW (Setting to Work), and commissioning of Electrical weapon systems/operating and maintaining gas turbines (preferably LM 2500) on board IN Ships / Experience in dealing with Naval / Coast Guard Authorities, CDA, Navy, Cargo clearance by Air & Sea, liasoning with various Materials Organizations / Authorities will be an added advantage. Naval Officers of the rank of Captain and above or equivalent in the Army / Air Force / Coast Guard meeting the experience criteria may also be considered. Captain (TS) and Commander with requisite seniority meeting the experience criteria may be considered. Candidates from Govt. / PSU / Autonomous organizations should have 2 years experience in immediate lower grades whereas Candidates from the private sector should be drawing comparable CTC of DGM Grade (E-5) for a minimum of 2 years.

Deputy General Manager

Candidates applying for the post of Deputy General Manager in Technical Discipline should have 15 years’ post-qualification experience preferably in a client environment on Enterprise Resource Planning using SAP, managing complete IT infrastructure consisting of Tier-II/III Data Centre/DR Centre, managing Networks (WAN & LAN) in diverse geographical locations complying with the latest Cyber Security & successful implementation of IT based solutions/projects for productivity enhancement in Industry such as Heavy Engineering/Defence Shipbuilding. Experience working on emerging Technology, viz. AI, IoT, analytics, Big data, and Machine Learning will be an added advantage. Naval Officers of the rank of Commander & above or equivalent in the Army / Air Force / Coast Guard meeting the experience criteria may also be considered. Candidates from Govt. / PSU / Autonomous organizations should have 2 years experience in immediate lower grades whereas Candidates from the private sector should be drawing comparable CTC of SM Grade (E-4) for a minimum of 2 years.

Age Limit for GRSE Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the post of Additional General Manager should not have crossed the age of 50 years.

The maximum age limit for Deputy General Manager is 48 years and the maximum age limit for Senior Manager is 45 years.

The candidate applying for the post of Deputy Manager should be below the age of 35, and the candidates applying for the post of Assistant Manager should not have crossed the age of 28 years.

The selection for all the posts except Assistant Manager will be through a personal Interview. The selection process for the post of Assistant Manager will be through a written test.
