GST Dept. Issued Penalty Order to Enviro Infra Engineers Limited for FY 2021-22; Company Assures No Material Impact
Enviro Infra Engineers Limited issued an official disclosure dated June 18, 2025, informing the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) that it had received an order from the Goods and Service Tax (GST) Authorities regarding penalty and interest imposed on it under Section 73(5) of the CGST Act. The disclosure was issued under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (“SEBI Listing Regulations”).
The notice was issued to Enviro Infra Engineers Limited by the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax (GST department) regarding alleged issues in their GST filings for the financial year 2021-2022. In accordance with the notice, the GST department found discrepancies after checking the company’s GST returns, including GSTR-3B, GSTR-1, GSTR-9, GSTR-2A, and data from the E-Way Bill system.
