GST Enrollment Plan for Indian States Announced

The Government has launched new web portal (www.gst.gov.in) exclusively for GST. Existing Taxpayers of VAT, Service Tax, Central Excise, etc

The Government has launched new web portal (www.gst.gov.in) exclusively for GST. Existing Taxpayers of VAT, Service Tax, Central Excise, etc. are advised to register/ enrol at GST portal within specified dates but not later than 31st Jan. 2017.Existing Taxpayers of VAT, Service Tax, Central Excise should enroll for following Reasons:

- Enroll yourself for smooth transition to GST
- Your provisional ID will come from your tax officer
- Update profile information and upload documents
- Enrolment is being taken up in a staggered manner
