GSTN Simplifies Compliance with Single ‘Notices and Orders’ Section

GST Portal Update: All Notices Now Available Under One Unified Tab; Additional Notices and Orders Tab Merged
A significant update has been introduced on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) portal aimed at improving user convenience and simplifying navigation. According to the new update, the “Additional Notices & Orders” tab has now been merged with the existing “Notices and Orders” tab.
The key benefit of this change is that taxpayers will now be able to check all notices issued addressing them in a unified section, eliminating the necessity of checking multiple sections, and this will also reduce chances of leaving notices unread. The GST portal has provided a direct hyperlink on its dashboard, permitting users to directly and quickly view notices, removing the need for searching them through menus.
The update is likely to facilitate the compliance process for taxpayers, professionals, and businesses, as they will be able to track communications from the GST department. Now, since all the notices will be available at a single tab, users will be able to access them directly from the dashboard, resulting in their faster response and avoiding missing important updates.
The change looks like a part of the GST portal’s ongoing efforts to streamline processes, enhance transparency, and improve overall user experience.
