GST Registration done via Aadhar- Department to take action within 3 days
GST- CGST Rules 2017 are amended vide notification no. 62/2020 dated 20 August 2020. Rule 8, 9 & 25 of CGST rules 2017 amended w.e.f 21 August 20 which are about:
Rule 8: Application for GST registration
Rule-9: Verification of application and Approval of Registration
Rule 25: Physical verification of business premises
Now Aadhaar is most important document for GST registration, in case of no aadhaar then proper officer can do physical verification of place of business.
Also while applying for GST Registration, where a person successfully undergoes authentication of Aadhaar number the proper officer has to take action within a period of three working days from the date of submission, the application for grant of registration shall be deemed to have been approved.
