GSTR-3B Due date for Sep 2022 Extended due to Technical Glitch in Gst Portal The GST Implementation Committee of GST Council has approved extension of the due date of filing GSTR-3B return for the month of September 2022, for the monthly filers, from 20th October 2022 to 21st October 2022. CBIC) has recently received an incidental report from the Goods and Services Tax Network asking for the GSTR-3B due date to be extended. Due to the sluggish performance of the GSTN site for taxpayers, CBIC announced on Thursday that it is considering extending the deadline for submitting GST returns for September. The GSTR-3B tax form is staggered filed by taxpayers from several states on the 20th, 22nd, and 24th of every month.

Taking the Extension decision by GST Council is quite a good move, as many taxpayers was suffering due to slow process and technical glitches while filing the GSTR-3B Form, this decision also came like shield to taxpayers for paying penalty or late fees. The Extension notification in this regard is under process.
