Allahabad High Court restrain the order giving I-T official 7 days in jail and a fine of Rs.25000 in guilty of contempt of court. The Lucknow bench pronounced this order on Thursday.

HC restrain the order giving I-T official 7 days in jail The Allahabad High Court's Lucknow bench on Thursday delayed the implementation of its single bench's ruling, which had found Harish Gidwani, a deputy commissioner of income tax, guilty of contempt of court and sentenced him to seven days in prison and a Rs 25,000 fine.
