Hindustan Zinc Reports Completion of ED Search, Assures No Impact on Business
Hindustan Zinc Limited has informed the stock exchanges that the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has conducted a search operation at the company’s premises, which has been completed as on June 3, 2026, at 4:00 a.m. The search operation was initiated on June 1, 2026, under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999.
In its disclosure to BSE Ltd and NSE Ltd, the company stated that its officials extended full cooperation to the enforcement authorities throughout the proceedings. According to the filing, the officers of the company provided all necessary information, documents, and clarifications sought by the ED during the course of the search.
Hindustan Zinc further said that it would take appropriate action, if required, in due course of time. The company emphasized that the search operation has not had any impact on its financial position, business operations, or other activities.
The company made the disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
