HPPSC Recruitment 2022: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC), has invited online applications from desirous and eligible candidates for recruitment to the vacant post of Chief Inspector (Boilers), Class-I (Gazetted) and Commandant / Junior Staff Officer, Class-I (Gazetted) on contract basis. There are a total of 04 vacancies for the Posts. For Chief Inspector (Boilers) the age of the candidate shall be between 18 to 45 years and for Commandant/ Junior Staff Officer, the age of the candidate shall be between 45 years and below as per the HPPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification. The candidate selected for the Post of Chief Inspector (Boilers) will be placed in the pay Matrix Level – 21 (Rs. 67400 – 201200) (Emoluments for contract employee(s) Rs. 40440 per month) in the Department of Industries, H.P. through ORA, which shall be available on the Commission’s website and the candidate selected for the post of Commandant/ Junior Staff Officer will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Rs. 6600 Grade Pay (Fixed contractual amount Rs. 40,440) in the Department of Home Guards and Civil Defence, H.P. through ORA, which shall be available on the commission’s website.

For Chief Inspector (Boilers):
The age of the candidate shall be between 18 to 45 years.
For Commandant/ Junior Staff Officer:
The age of the candidate shall be between 45 years and below.
For Chief Inspector (Boiler):
(i) B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical or Production or Power Plant or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University or an Institution affiliated to a recognized University or from a deemed University; and
(ii) Ten years experience in the managerial capacity in the field of design, construction, erection, operation, testing, repair, maintenance or inspection of Boilers or in the implementation of the Boilers Act, 1923, and the rules and regulations framed thereunder.
Or
Minimum 4 years experience as Deputy Chief Inspector (Boilers);
Or
Minimum 8 years total experience as Deputy Chief Inspector (Boilers) and Inspector (Boilers);
Or
Minimum 8 years experience as Inspector (Boilers).
For Commandant/Junior Staff Officer:
(i) Retired/released Army Officer of the Indian Armed Force of the Rank of Captain or above who has served as Commissioned Officer (other than honorary) for a period of at least 03 years.
OR
(i) Graduate of a recognized University
(ii) Five years of regular service as Company Commander in the Department of Home Guards and Civil Defence Organization.
For Chief Inspector (Boiler):
Pay Matrix Level – 21 (Rs. 67400 – 201200) (Emoluments for contract employee(s) Rs. 40440 per month).
For Commandant/Junior Staff Officer:
Pay Matrix Level of Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Rs. 6600 Grade Pay (Fixed contractual amount Rs. 40,440).
General Category {including General Physically Disabled, i.e.Orthopedically disabled, Deaf & Dumb, Hearing impaired/ Autism, Intellectual Disability or Multiple Disability)/Economically Weaker Section(EWS)/ W.F.F. of HP/ Ex-Servicemen of HP relieved from Defence Services on their own request before completion of normal tenure, Generalwards of Ex-SMofH.P., i.e. Dependentsons of Ex-SM of H.P.} – Rs. 400.
Candidates of Other States (including reserved category(s)candidates of other states) – Rs. 400.
S.C. of H.P. /S.T. of H.P. /O.B.C. of H.P./ EWS (Covered under BPL)/(including S.C./S.T. /O.B.C. Ex-Servicemen of H.P. relieved from Defence Services on their own requests before completion of normal tenure and SC/ ST/ OBC wards of Ex-SM of H.P., i.e. Dependents one of Ex-SM of H.P.) – Rs. 100
Ex-Servicemen of H.P. (Ex-Servicemen, who are relieved from Defence Services after completion of normal tenure)/ Blind/Visually Impaired of H.P./Female Candidates – No Fee
