Age Limit for IB Recruitment 2024:

The maximum age limit does not exceed 56 years to apply for IB Recruitment 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for IB Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the required eligibility criteria for applying to IB Recruitment 2024 as mentioned below-

For Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-I/Executive-

Officers under the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defence Forces-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 7 (Rs. 44,900-142400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. And

Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience-

• The applicant must have a bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent. And
• The applicant must have 02 years of experience in security or intelligence work.

For Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-II/Executive-

Officers of the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defence Forces-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 6 (Rs. 35400-112400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. And

Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely-

Essential-

• The applicant must have a Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university. And
• The applicant must have two years’ experience in security or intelligence work.

Desirable-

• The applicant must have a knowledge of Computers.

For Junior Intelligence Officer-I/Executive-

Officers of the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defence forces-

Essential-

• The applicant must have a Matriculate or equivalent from a recognized board. And
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 4 (Rs.25500- 81100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

For Junior Intelligence Officer-II/Executive-

Officers of the Central Police Organizations State Police Organizations or Defence forces-

Essential-

• The applicant must have a Matriculate or equivalent from a recognized board. And
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 3 (Rs. 21700 – 69100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

Salary for IB Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are selected for IB Recruitment 2024 will be given a monthly remuneration as stated below-

Tenure for IB Recruitment 2024:

The engagement is made on a deputation basis and the chosen candidates for IB Recruitment 2024 will be engaged including a period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.
