IBPS Recruitment 2024: New Notification Out for Various Posts, Check Vacancies, Salary, Age, Qualification and How to Apply
IBPS Recruitment 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Professor, Assistant General Manager (IT), Research Associate, Hindi Officer, Deputy Manager-Accounts (CA), Analyst Programmers-ASP.NET and Analyst Programmer-Python. According to the official notification of IBPS Recruitment 2024, the maximum age limit for applying for the mentioned positions is starting from 23 years to 55 years according to the posts (mentioned below). The educational qualification is different for each post as mentioned below. The candidates applying for the mentioned positions should have relevant years of experience in their appropriate field.
According to the official notification of IBPS Recruitment 2024, the applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of the Online Exam, Skill Test, Item Writing Exercise, Group Exercises and Personal Interview conducted by the committee (according to the posts). The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.1000. The application fee will be paid by the candidates online only. Age Limit for IBPS Recruitment 2024:
As mentioned in the official notification of IBPS Recruitment 2024, the maximum age limit for applying for the mentioned positions is as listed below:
The minimum and maximum age limit for the post of Professor is 47 to 55 years.
The minimum and maximum age limit for the post of Assistant General Manager (Information Technology) is 35 to 50 years.
The minimum and maximum age limit for the post of Research Associate, Hindi Officer, Deputy Manager (CA), Analyst Programmers-ASP.NET and Analyst Programmer-Python is 23 to 30 years.
Assistant General Manager (Information Technology):
The candidates should have a Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Electronics/ Electronics and Telecommunication / Electronics and Communication/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology / Computer Applications and/ or equivalent.
Research Associate:
The candidates should have a Post-Graduation in Psychology / Education/ Psychological Measurement / Psychometrics / Statistics/ Management (Specialization in HR) with a minimum of 55% marks from recognized universities / Institutes.
Hindi Officer:
The candidates should have a Master’s degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a major or elective subject at Graduation. OR
The candidates should have a Master’s degree from a recognized university in English with Hindi as a major or elective subject at Graduation. OR
The candidates should have a Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi as a major or elective subject and English as a medium of examination at degree level. OR
The candidates should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English with English as a major or elective subject and Hindi as a medium of examination at the degree level.
Deputy Manager (Accounts) (Chartered Accountant):
The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant.

Experience Required for IBPS Recruitment 2024:
As stated in the official notification of IBPS Recruitment 2024, the experience required for applying is different for each post.
Professor:
The candidates should have at least 12 years post qualification (after PhD) experience in Teaching/ Research and/ or Industrial/ Professional experience of which at least three years. candidates should be at the level of Associate Professor (or equivalent) at an institution of repute or equivalent Industry/Professional Experience.
Experience in Examination content creation, Content Analysis, Psychometrics, and Data Analytics related to the examination system will be given preference.
Assistant General Manager (Information Technology):
The candidates should have at least 10 years of postqualification hands-on experience in the Information Technology function, of which at least 3 years should be as Head/ Next to Head of IT function in a mid-size corporation.
Experience in IT infrastructure handling including (small) Data Centre operation, Server Virtualization, Disaster Recovery process, and Networking operation (WAN, LAN and WLAN).
Good knowledge of Operating Systems like Windows and Linux/Unix is an essential requirement. Hands-on experience on Active Directory will be an added advantage.
He/She also must have a fair knowledge of VPN, Remote Access technology, firewall, Web Access Firewall, Proxy server and other IT Security functions.
He/She must have basic knowledge of programming/software development (lifecycle).
Knowledge of Databases (MS-SQL, My-SQL etc.), ML, AI based applications will be an added advantage.
Research Associate:
The candidates should have at least 01-year of experience in Academic Research /Test Development. Competency in operating a Computer is a must.
Hindi Officer:
The candidates should have at least 01-year of experience in Hindi translation of various reports/ Documents/ Letters in a bank/financial institution is Desirable. Competency in operating computers is a must. The candidate will be required to type /create the translated text documents on his/her own in MS Word and Excel in Hindi and English.
Deputy Manager (Accounts) (Chartered Accountant):
The candidates should have at least 01 – year of experience in handling Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Investment and Expertise in the management of funds etc.
