ICAI and CAG starts 2 new Certification courses for Students The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the launch of a new certificate course at a regional meeting of CA students hosted by ICAI Bhilwara. You would be able to do accounting in Panchayat and Municipal authorities after completing this certificate course. This new course has been named CAP (Certificate Course for Accountants of Panchayat) and CAMB (Certificate Course for Accountants of Municipal Body). ICAI National Vice President CA Ranjit Kumar Aggarwal said that an MOU has been signed between the CAG office and ICAI. A new course is being developed to employ youth and provide accountants to municipal councils and panchayats. The ICAI website will be updated with a list of candidates who have completed the certificate course. If a Panchayat or Zilla Parishad need it, these individuals will be able to be appointed immediately for accounting job.

Complete information from curriculum to exam in the first Certificate Course

CAP and CAMB: These are divided into two levels. CAMB has a Town Panchayat and Municipality and Corporation. CAP has Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad. Eligibility: For both courses, the applicant must have passed 12th and must have crossed 18 years of age. Registration: Registration will be done throughout the year. The last date for the first batch will be 31st January. Examination: There will be two examinations. The first will be screening and the second will be the main examination. The screening exam will have 50 multiple-choice questions to be answered in one hour. There will be no negative marking. If the candidate gets 50 percent marks, he will be considered passed. The main examination will be of two hours. There will be multiple-choice as well as analytical questions. To pass in this, more than 50 percent marks will be required. Study Material: Study material will be available in ten languages ​​(Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Oriya, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Kannada and Telugu). It can be read online. Fee: This certification course can be applied for only Rs 590.
