ICAI directs Candidates not to send Frequent Unsolicited Messages to Voters w.r.t ICAI Election 2021 The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has issued a Appeal Letter in which the body wants to draw the attention of Candidates towards upcoming election matter. In the appeal, the ICAI stated : For kind attention of Candidates for election to the Council and Regional Councils, 2021 Members are complaining that they are receiving a flood of unsolicited SMS, WhatsApp messages, e-mails, posts, and other communications on the upcoming election, which is clogging their communication system. While sending various messages to the voters, candidates should remember to respect the privacy of the members/voters and exercise restraint, as frequent unwanted messages irritate the members/voters. Cooperation is solicited.
