ICAI extends Last Date for Online Empanelment of Members to act as Observers for May/June 2024 Examinations The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has notified the extension of the Last Date for the Online Empanelment of Members to act as Observers for May/ June 2024 Examinations. It has been decided to extend the Last date of online empanelment of members to act as observers at the examination centres for the Chartered Accountants Examinations, May/ June 2024, up to 15 th March 2024. Eligible Members who were not empanelled may now be empanelled to act as observers for the May/ June 2024 examinations until March 15, 2024. Kindly note that Eligible Members are required to empanel afresh in every exam cycle. The members desirous may visit the Observer Portal and make online application to act as observer for May/ June 2024 examinations upto 15th March 2024. The Examination Committee, during its 648th meeting on January 8th and 9th, 2024, resolved to allow a cooling off period for one attempt following three (3) consecutive tries for Observership duties. The same will be applicable from May 2024, with retrospective details.
