ICAI Extends Last date of online empanelment CA members to act as observers at Exam centres The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has notified an extension of the Last date of online empanelment of CA members to act as observers at Exam centres via an announcement. The Announcement Read as follows: It has been decided to extend the Last date of online empanelment of members to act as observers at the examination centres for the Chartered Accountants Examinations, May/ June 2024, up to 15th March 2024. Eligible Members who were not empanelled may now be empanelled to act as observers for the May/ June 2024 examinations until March 15, 2024. Kindly note that Eligible Members are required to empanel afresh in every exam cycle. The members desirous may visit the Observer Portal and make online applications to act as observers for May/ June 2024 examinations upto 15th March 2024. The Examination Committee, during its 648th meeting on January 8th and 9th, 2024, resolved to allow a cooling off period for one attempt following three (3) consecutive tries for Observership duties.
