ICAI Hosts Draft Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel of CAs/Firms for FY 2025-26 at meficai.org
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Professional Development Committee has issued an official announcement dated January 23, 2026, informing that the Draft Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel (MEF) of Chartered Accountants/firms for the Financial Year 2025-26 (Assessment Year 2026-27) developed as per norms of RBI issued on March 06, 2023, has successfully been hosted at www.meficai.org.
Using the penal, applicants can access details like MEF Number, FRN Number, Name of the Applicant, Unique Code Number, Category
District and Reason for ineligibility (if any), using their MEF No./FRN or MRN (in case of an individual).
In the draft panel itself, applicants will also be visible with proper reasoning why their category has been revised, wherever applicable. If applicants have any observations/queries/complaints regarding the penal, they can discuss the same with details at https://app.meficai.org/complaints or can contact Ms Priya Duggal/Ms. Garima Khurana and Mr Manish Bhardwaj at 92055 59866 and 92055 59865 numbers, respectively.
Applicants will be able to access the Draft Panel till Friday, January 30, 2026. Once the queries are properly answered, the final panel will be sent to the RBI for their review.
