The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has recently released a GST Sectoral Guide on Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). This is the second publication under the Industry-Specific GST Publication Series issued by the GST & Indirect Taxes Committee.

The guide is divided into four chapters. The first chapter gives an overview of the FMCG industry, explains its different business models, and discusses how GST applies to the sector.
