ICAI Notifies Doctoral Scholarship Scheme 2023 The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI) has notified ICAI Doctoral Scholarship Scheme 2023, an initiative by Research Committee. Research and development are important drivers of economic growth as they promote innovation, invention, and progress. Research involves addressing uncertainties and figuring out how to work on an idea and develop it into something which is feasible to achieve. At ICAI, research and development initiatives have always been appreciated for creating a growth-driven approach for stakeholders in various aspects. It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that the Institute, under the aegis of its Research Committee, is announcing the ICAI Doctoral Scholarship Scheme 2023 for the members who want to pursue a Ph.D. in the disciplines relevant for professional development. The scheme aims to enhance research aptitude and will encourage a larger number of chartered accountants to engage in the fields of research and innovation. Requisite support by way of a monthly scholarship to the eligible candidates with intellectual interest in the discipline to make a scholarly contribution will also be provided under the Scheme. The applicants under the scheme would be required to demonstrate their original research concepts through publications in prestigious academic journals and scholarly presentations of their work, and their contributions should incorporate insights about accounting and related areas, business practices, public policy, and governance. The last date to apply under the scheme is September 30, 2023.
