ICAI notifies Gandhinagar Branch of Western India Regional Council The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) has notified Gandhinagar Branch of Western India Regional Council via issuing Notification. The Notification Stated, "In pursuance of the Regulation 159 (1) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to notify the setting up of a Branch of Western India Regional Council in Gandhinagar (Gujarat) with effect from 23rd March, 2023." The Branch shall be known as Gandhinagar Branch of Western India Regional Council and its Head Quarter shall be at Gandhinagar (Gujarat). The Jurisdiction of the Branch shall besides Gandhinagar city, include the following cities/towns falling within a radius of 50 kms from the municipal limits of Gandhinagar(Gujarat): 1. Gandhinagar 2. Dehgam 3. Kadi 4. Kalol 5. Mansa 6. Mehsana 7. Vijapur (GJX) 8. Adalaj 9. Chhatral 10. Chhatral (INA) 11. Chiloda (Naroda) 12. Mahudi 13. Punadra 14. Saij 15. Himatnagar 16. Visnagar As prescribed under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and directions of the Council through Western India Regional Council and shall carry out such directions as may, from time to time, be issued by the Council.
