ICAI Postpones CA Inter Group II Auditing and Ethics Exam
The Examination Department under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) recently made an important announcement on January 17, 2026, regarding the postponement of CA, Group II, Paper-5, Auditing and Ethics.
The ICAI has delayed the CA Intermediate Group II, Paper 5 (Auditing and Ethics) exam that was supposed to take place on Monday, January 19, 2026, due to certain unavoidable circumstances. Additionally, ICAI will announce the revised date soon.
ICAI added that this postponement applies to all exam centres in India as well as overseas. However, there will be no change in the schedule of examinations for the other examination dates.
ICAI also advised candidates to regularly visit the Institute’s official website, www.icai.org, for the latest updates.
