ICAI Puts Implementation of Global Networking Guidelines 2025 on Hold Until Further Orders:

The ICAI has temporarily kept the implementation of the Global Networking Guidelines, 2025, in abeyance until further orders, as announced by the CA Firms Committee.
Global Networking Guidelines 2025 Kept in Abeyance by ICAI

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) had previously announced the implementation of ICAI (Global Networking) Guidelines, 2025, through a Notification No. 3-CACAF/GN-F/2026, dated February 11, 2026, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part III, Section 4, dated February 17, 2026.
Recently, the CA Firms Committee of ICAI has made another important announcement dated July 15, 2026, informing all the members that they have currently kept the implementation of the ICAI (Global Networking) Guidelines, 2025, in abeyance (a state of temporary hold) until the release of further orders on this subject.
The official announcement reads, "It is hereby informed that further implementation of the ICAI (Global Networking) Guidelines, 2025, notified vide Notification No. 3-CACAF/GN-F/2026 dated 11th February, 2026 and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part III, Section 4, dated 17th February, 2026, is kept in abeyance until further orders."
The ICAI (Global Networking) Guidelines, 2025, will help establish a framework for Indian CA firms to form networks or affiliations with global networks and overseas entities.
The Secretary of the ICAI CA Firms Committee has made the aforementioned announcement.
