RBI Extends FLA Return Filing Deadline to July 31, 2026; Changes Official Email for Queries:

The RBI has extended the due date for furnishing the annual census on FLA for the FY 2025-26 and also revised the email ID for all communication/queries.
All Reporting Entities Advised to Take Note of Revised Email ID and Deadline for Timely Compliance

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the due date for furnishing the annual census on Foreign Liabilities and Assets (FLA) for the financial year ending in March 2026 on the Foreign Liabilities and Assets Information Reporting (FLAIR) portal till July 31, 2026.
Along with the announcement of the deadline extension, the apex bank has also changed its email ID for FLA-related communication/queries. The earlier email address, [email protected], has now been changed to the new [email protected]. Accordingly, advised all the concerned individuals to submit their returns only to the revised email ID, i.e., [email protected], as the earlier email ID has been completely discontinued.
The FLA return is an annual census that collects information on foreign investments in Indian entities and overseas investments made by Indian entities. Eligible businesses are required to file the return through the RBI's FLAIR portal within the prescribed timeline.
In order to ensure smooth filing and timely submission of the annual census on FLA, all the reporting entities are recommended to take note of the revised email address and extended due date.
