ICAI relaxes in Study Period for students appearing in CA Intermediate Examination May, 2022 The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced relaxation in Study Period for students appearing in May, 2022 Intermediate Examination after passing July, 2021 Foundation Examination. To alleviate the hardship caused to students as a result of the postponement of the May 2021 Foundation Examination, the Competent Authority has decided that students who have passed the July 2021 Foundation Examination must enrol in an Intermediate Course by November 1, 2021 in order to sit for the May 2022 Intermediate Examination. Such students are hereby permitted to sit for the Intermediate Examination in May 2022, following the completion of a six-month study period rather than an eight-month study period. All CA candidates who passed the foundation exam will be eligible to take the intermediate exam in May 2022. These scholar have till November 1 to register for the intermediate exam.
