With the e-way bill system having undergone several amendments over the years, it is necessary for taxpayers and professionals to keep themselves updated with the latest rules and compliance requirements. The new handbook is intended to serve as a practical reference to understand these changes and resolve common issues related to e-way bills.
The handbook has been revised by ICAI’s GST & Indirect Taxes Committee as part of continued efforts for the benefit of the profession and other stakeholders through knowledge sharing and professional development initiatives.
It is intended for Chartered Accountants, tax professionals, businesses, departmental officers and other stakeholders involved in GST compliance. It explains the e-way bill framework in a simple and practical way, so as to help the readers understand the rules and implement it effectively in different business situations.
