ICAI Releases Technical Guide on Revised CAG Directions under Section 143(5)
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) recently released a handbook called "Technical Guide on Revised Directions Issued by CAG under Section 143(5) of the Companies Act, 2013.
This handbook is published by the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board to assist the members in understanding and complying with the revised directions.
This Technical Guide helps members by giving clear guidance on how to conduct audits and how to prepare audit reports, along with sample formats to make their work clear, consistent, and high-quality.
This book is divided into five chapters, starting with fair valuation of investments for post-retirement benefits, followed by accounting transactions and IT systems, Grants and Subsidies, Risk Areas and Risk Management Policy and more.
