ICAI Releases User Manual Version 1.0 of UDIN Mobile App; Here's What You Need to Know
The Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has prepared a User Manual Version 1.0 of the UDIN Mobile App for ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). The app was introduced on December 30, 2025, for both iOS and Android devices. This app aimed to provide its members with easy access to UDIN generation.
The user has been reviewed by the UDIN Secretariat. The TCS had shared the first draft of the manual on September 06, 2025, and then the second draft on September 15, 2025. The UDIN has finally reviewed the draft manual on January 16, 2026.
This manual includes a step-by-step, detailed guide to each function available in the UDIN Mobile app. Guides on processes like UDIN generation, revocation of UDIN, listing UDIN, and verification of UDIN are included in this manual. The homepage of the ICAI UDIN Mobile App provides several features and resources to its users related to the Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN). The menu bar is located at the top-left corner of the homepage, giving quick access to Announcements, What’s New, Contact Us, About Us, and FAQs.
