ICAI removes names of 1593 Members on account of non-payment of Membership Fees
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has removed the names of 1593 Members on account of non-payment of Membership Fees. ICAI notified this via issuing a Notification.
The Notification Stated:
In pursuance of Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulation, 1988, it is hereby notified that in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20(1)(c) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has removed the names of the following persons from Register of Members of this Institute with effect from 1st October 2022 on account of non-payment of prescribed fees.
